Hop on board our Mercedes Sprinter Shuttle which offers round-trip transportation services from our Downtown Houston pick-up/drop-off spot to the iconic NASA Johnson Space Center located by Nassau Bay in Clear Lake, a 40-60 minute drive from Downtown Houston. The Space Center has a wonderful mix of interactive, family-friendly exhibits including the amazing Independence Plaza, International Space Station, Rocket Park, Life on Mars, Artemis and tram tours! All guests will have about 5 hours to explore the Space Center at their own freedom before boarding the shuttle back to Downtown Houston. Following the day-trip visit to Space Center, we will provide shuttle transportation back to the original Downtown Houston departure point with return pick-up from the NASA Space Center entrance.

Shuttle Departure Time:  Our early NASA-bound  Shuttle typically departs at 9:30 AM. Our later NASA-bound shuttle service departs at 10:45 / 11:30 AM subject to peak season. Please meet for check-in 5 minutes before your scheduled departure time in front of the colorful, giant Joan Miro art sculpture across from the Bank of America Tower's exit doors on Capitol Street.  Our shuttle drivers will park in front of or side-by-side by the Miro sculpture.

Daily Itinerary for 9:30 AM

Early Shuttle Departures:

1.  Please meet for check-in 5 minutes before your scheduled departure time in front of the colorful, giant Joan Miro art sculpture across from the Bank of America Tower's exit doors on Capitol Street.  Our shuttle driver will park in front of or side-by-side by the Miro sculpture​.  Please feel free to wait inside the Bank of America Tower lobby on street level if you arrive early and don’t want to wait outdoors​

2. After a 40-60 minute ride from Downtown Houston to the Space Center Houston on our Mercedes shuttle, travelers will arrive to the NASA Space Center within 15 minutes of the entrance gates opening

 

3. Travelers will have approx. 5 hours to explore and enjoy the Space Center at their own pace before being picked up at the Space Center's shuttle boarding area from 3:00 - 3:10 PM. Our Mercedes Shuttle will depart the NASA Space Center entrance at 3:10 PM latest for a return trip to Downtown. In consideration of all our guests' itineraries, please note that failure to board the Mercedes van by 3:10 PM for the return trip to Downtown Houston can result in the termination of the service and late travelers will assume full responsibility for return transportation back to downtown or lodging area

4. Our Mercedes Shuttle will return all travelers to the Bank of America Tower (original departure point) in Downtown Houston at approx. 3:45 - 4:00 PM​

Daily Itinerary for 10:45 AM / 11:30 AM Later Shuttle Departures:

1.  Please meet for check-in 5 minutes before your scheduled departure time in front of the colorful, giant Joan Miro art sculpture across from the Bank of America Tower's exit doors on Capitol Street.  Our shuttle driver will park in front of or side-by-side by the Miro sculpture​.  Please feel free to wait inside the Bank of America Tower lobby on street level if you arrive early and don’t want to wait outdoors​

2. After a 40-60 minute ride from Downtown Houston to the Space Center Houston on our Mercedes shuttle, travelers will arrive to the NASA Space Center 

 

3. Travelers will have approx. 4 - 5 hours to explore and enjoy the Space Center at their own pace before being picked up at the Space Center's shuttle boarding area from 4:30 - 4:40 PM. Our Mercedes Shuttle will depart the NASA Space Center entrance at 4:40 PM latest for a return trip to Downtown. In consideration of all our guests' itineraries, please note that failure to board the Mercedes van by 4:10 PM for the return trip to Downtown Houston can result in the termination of the service and late travelers will assume full responsibility for return transportation back to downtown or lodging area

4. Our Mercedes Shuttle will return all travelers to the Bank of America Tower (original departure point) in Downtown Houston at approx. 5:15 - 5:30 PM
